Changhua’s abundant produce has endowed the county with the laudatory name of “Granary of Taiwan”. Offering a wide selection of the finest agricultural products in Taiwan, Changhua is a major county of agriculture, with the most well-known products including: mineral-rich Zhuoshui rice, high quality Kyoho grapes, Honey Red grapes, organic, sweet and crisp pearl guava, crystal guava, century guava, star fruit, pineapple, needle mushroom, king oyster mushroom and white balsam pear, and many other vegetables, flower and agricultural products.

Changhua County Farmers’ Association is also committed to the marketing of local agricultural products in Changhua by establishing numerous promotion centers to introduce Changhua’s specialty agricultural products to more domestic and overseas consumers. Changhua County’s agricultural products are also exported to popular supermarket chains in Malaysia, where dedicated Changhua produce counters are created along with promotional activities, in turn boosting the popularity of Changhua’s agricultural products and expanding the export market for Changhua’s agriculture.

Changhua is blessed with pleasant climate and fertile soil, while the local flowers and seedlings are also famed across the world, earning it the title of the home of flowers. Through the promotion of agricultural products, it is hoped to attract visitors worldwide to visit Changhua and experience its glamor for themselves.
