With over half a century history, Huatan Pork Thick Soup is located inside the Huatan Public Market. There are several coal-fired stoves next to the stall for boiling water to prepare the pork thick soup. The pork thick soup has a mild flavor and exquisite aroma derived from slow cooking on a coal fire. Crispy calamari is also added to produce a fresh sweetness of seafood that complements the aroma of the thick soup.
In addition, stewed pork rice is also a popular delicacy here. Unlike conventional culinary approaches, the pork is stewed over coal fire to produce a delectable, natural, country taste.
The store is often sold out well before noon; therefore, if you want to savor the magnificent flavor, you should hurry. (Stall no. 67 and 68 in the public market).
