Gourmets介紹
Situated next to the Lukang Folk Arts Museum, Hsinchuchin Shrimp Balls has a proud history of 80 years. When the first generation settler Chin-Chiang, Fu moved from Hsinchu to Lukang, he established a stall in the market, where he developed and sold the first Lukang shrimp balls, which he referred to as “Hsinchuchin”. At the time, the shrimp balls became a gourmet dish on the table of luxury banquets. Before the shrimp balls gradually lost their popularity, second generation proprietor Hsi-Chuan, Fu developed shrimp balls according to ancient recipe by using the highest quality sand shrimp that are blended with exclusive ingredients, creating shrimp balls that not only look great, smell great but also taste great. This increases the appeal of shrimp balls once again and making it the premier specialty product of Lukang. When visiting the Lukang Folk Arts Museum, don’t forget to purchase some shrimp balls as souvenir!
