“Noodle Stall Yong” is the appellation given to great grandfather by the locals. Currently managed by the fourth generation descendant, the stall has nearly eight decades of history, and it is an old store that will evoke nostalgic memories among the older generation. The stall offers a plethora of handmade ingredients, including shrimp balls, meat balls, fried rolls, sausages, shrimps and pork thick soup, all made in accordance with great grandfather’s philosophy of producing everything in-house by hand. For many people residing away from their hometown and gourmands, “Noodle Stall Yong” is one of their essential destinations in Lukang to salve their homesickness and desire for nostalgic flavors.
