The store’s signature tofu pudding is as fresh, delicate and refreshing as pudding. Only plump Taiwanese adzuki beans and peanuts are used. According to the owner, the ability to cook them thoroughly while preserving their integrity requires years of experience and skill.
Laowang Tofu Pudding’s flavors include tapioca pearls, peanuts and adzuki beans. In summer, additional choices include mung beans and in winter, ginger juice can be added. The owner emphasizes that the ginger juice is stewed using turmeric, and three different levels of spiciness can be chosen by the customers according to their preference.
