The shop, a small food processing plant, currently serves mainly as a subcontract manufacturer for rice flour noodle brands based in Hsinchu and Puli. It has started developing its own brand in recent years, but without great success. It is still a retailer, relying on purchases on the spot and mail orders as the major source of revenues. Two years ago, the shop started getting orders from abroad, making its output volume increase considerably.
It provides various kinds of customized rice flour noodles, with the thickness of noodles ranging from thick to very thin.
It has been introduced to the public by quite a number of television shows, which brings government officials and tourists to come and take a look.
