Established in 1981, Taifong Golf Club was built along the contours of the peaks, with the layout of the holes running along the slopes and valleys. In the club, the “Landscape Diner” is open to the public, serving Chinese style light meals, set meals, and business lunches. It is a wonderful place for friends and relatives to meet over a nice meal. The price of light Chinese meals starts from NT$220 and set meals start from NT$8,800. At a reasonable price, visitors may like to enjoy a rich meal at an international venue. Café Terrace serves brunch and light meals, suitable for a few friends to share good food together. With an open view on the balcony, visitors may overlook Yuanlin’s magnificent landscapes. If you are an absolute demanding food connoisseur, AGRI, serving western cooking, should be recommended to you highly.
The Tasting Menu was developed by a team led by and with the inspirations of the executive chef Francis Chu. The rich banquet satisfies both your vision and taste. Please remember to book in advance. After tasting the delicious meal, tourists may like to visit the Tai Fong Design Shop, which sells golf outfits, caps, and other accessories. We welcome you to visit and shop there.
Located at Dacun, Changhua, Tai Fong Golf Club was established by the founder President Lin Yu-Chia of Taiwan Glass Group in 1981. Situated on the hills in central Taiwan, the golf course is located at an altitude of 150 m above sea-level. The weather is warm with scanty rainfall. With temperatures between 15°C to 28°C, it seems to be spring there throughout the year. Convenient for traffic, it occupies 678 942 m2 of land. The total length of the 18 holes is 7,558 yards and the par is 72. On the greens, Tifeagle – competition level grass – is planted. Irrigated by the fully automatic control spraying system, the environment is green and pleasant, refreshing people’s bodies and souls. The restaurant, open to the public, allows people to enjoy a social gathering atmosphere on the green of a golf course, where visitors can observe the urban landscapes of Yuanlin from Baquashan Mountain.
In Tai Fong Golf Club, there are two club buildings designed by the Portuguese Pritzker Architecture Prize winners Álvaro Siza and his partner Carlos Castanheira. These two landscape architectures are designed in accordance with the contour of the golf course. Not only do they bring a whole new integrated experience to the “leisure culture” to the golf industry, but they also established two exemplars of architecture “fused with the land”.
