Founded by Mr. Chao-Xuan Liang, Tsao Her Pastry Store is now run by the third generation after more than eight decades in business. The third generator proprietors consist of Yang-Chang Liang and his two brothers. Besides continuing the exquisite baking techniques, they also constantly develop new products. In 1994, they unveiled the Phoenix cake, which features crispy and aromatic crust on the outside and exquisite pineapple paste filling. The filling is produced from meticulous chosen materials combined with the unique house formula and salty egg yolks to create the magnificent texture.
