Chef Hong originally learned his baking skills at “Taipei ART Bakery” and subsequently worked as a pastry chef at “Marco Polo Bread Company”. To date, he has accrued over 20 years of experience in the baking industry. When he felt an increasing desire to return to his hometown Lukang, he quitted his job in Taipei to be with his family. Encouraged by his family, he chose to establish “Wang Lai Xiang Bakery” on the archaic street of Yaolin and become involved in the production of “professional pineapple cakes” and freshly baked handmade egg tarts.
