Far away from the streets of Ershui and arriving at the renowned Tungtso Inkstone, head further north for 100m and turn into an alleyway and you will see a noodle stall located in the peaceful residential area. More astonishing is that the store is crowded with patrons. In the early years, store owner Lien-Chao, Ou peddled her noodles everywhere. The unique old-fashioned flavor makes it a firm favorite among the residents of Ershui. Although the store was relocated away from the shopping district, loyal customers still frequent her store. The aromatic minced pork is prepared using her secret recipe drizzled over the al dente noodles. At NT$20 a bowl, the noodles attract not only local patrons but also tourists from other regions in Taiwan.
