Tiaoshui Historic Trail (Water Porters' Trail) was one of the old trails of Mt. Bagua, which connecting Dazhu and Xitou Villages of Fenyuan Township. In Qing Dynasty, to solve the problem of water for domestic use, the earlier settlers began to search for water sources. At this very location, a spring with abundant water was found. There are 10m deep wells were dug for the village residents that acted as their water supply.
