Attraction sites特色
There are three Kinmen Halls in Taiwan; those locate at Mengjia (Wanhua), Tainan Anping, and Lukang respectively. Kinmen Hall enshrines Sufu Wangye, a god enshrined by Kinmen people and Fujian navy.

During the years of Emperor Jiaqing, believers invited Sufu Wangye from Taiwan Fucheng (Tainan) passing through Lukang and left the deity statue here for worship. In the 10th year of Emperor Jiaqing (1805), Lukang gentry Xu, Le-Shan asked his son to rebuild into Kinmen Hall as the temple to enshrine Sufu Wangye. Kinmen Hall was originally named “Wu Jiang Guan”. Xu, Le-Shan also contributed the tablet of “Wu Jiang Guan,” which is still hung on the Main Hall today.

Besides having the function to be “a gathering place for people that came from the same place”, Kinmen Hall also was a gathering venue for navy. In the 28th year of Emperor Daoguang in Qing Dynasty (1848), an earthquake in Changhua damaged Kinmen Hall. The hall was restored in the 5th year of Emperor Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (1855). The restoration received helps from the Navy in funds and labors. After restoration was finished, an engraved stone tablet was put on the wall of the Sacrificial Hall; it was the temple’s important literature source.

During Japanese Colonial Period, Kinmen Hall once was partially renovated in the 41st year of Emperor Mingzhi (1908). After Restoration, the administrator Zhuo, Shen-Bao originated the repairing works of the Main Hall and Sanchuan Hall in 1975. In June 1994, the Government carried out historic site restoration work; besides the old color painting works on both dragon and tiger blocks in Sanchuan Hall were preserved, Kinmen Hall’s other color painting works were applied by Tainan’s Chen, Shou-Yi and Pan, Yue-Xiong, and masters from Hemei Chen-Yin Sect. In 1999, a celebration for locating the deity statue was held in Kinmen Hall. On October 25th, 2000 Kinmen Hall was appointed as county level historic site. Picturesque Lukang Kinman Hall-2
