Yuanlin Hengwen Temple, mainly worships Xuantian Shangdi, in Changhua County is famous for its 10-storey building that looks like Xuantian Shangdi. It is also the tallest Xuantian Shangdi statue in Southeast Asia. Miracles have appeared repeatedly in the temple in recent years. At the 4th floor, about at the heart of the statue, there is a floor tile about 50cm wide in front of a shrine. When people stand on it, they will feel warm immediately. However, they won’t feel anything when touching it with their hands. Visitors are recommended to visit and experience the miracle there themselves.

According to findings in field trips, the Xuantian Shangdi statue in Hengwen Temple is the tallest one of the kind in Taiwan. In the statue, in addition to worshipping Doumu Singjyun (Doumu) and Sixty Singjyun Tai Sui, the paintings of the Daoism practice of Xuantian Shangdi and his achievements in Dao are reproduced on the inner wall by Pingtung artisans with reference to historic literature brought back from Wudang Mountain, China. It is also the only murals of Xuangtian Shangdi achieved in Dao through dedicated practice in Taiwan, rich in religious and artistic values. Reported by the media, it attracts many visitors who join to fulfill the miracles of the deity.
