THSR Changhua Station is an important landmark for transportation in Changhua. Designed by Kris Yao, a famous architect, it is an incredibly special THSR station in both capacity and renown when compared with other stations. The overall concept of design is “gold-class green architecture” to highlight the spirit of local industry. With the Chinese character tien (field) as the concept of design, it is accompanied by the elements of flowers and sunlight to constitute the major features of THSR Changhua Station, which also attempts to integrate the local floral image with high-tech.
In the station, the French windows and indoor green landscape present marvelous visual effects at night when interacting with lights and the architecture's silhouette. In April 2016, it also won the “Audience Award” in the station category of A+ Architecture sponsored by Architizer of America.
