Engaging in wood sculpture for 50 years, Shih combines traditional craft sculpture techniques with modern design and founded the Chin-Fu Shih Studio 37 years ago in 1984. By gradually expanding the studio’s pure production function, Shih has transformed the studio into a tourism factory, wood sculpture museum, and wood sculpture DIY learning station. In 2007, he was certified by the “Taiwan Crafts Workshop” of the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute.
