It is mainly for worshiping Xiqin Wangye (the Lord of Western Qin), the patron of Beiguan (Northern Winds Opera). About one hundred years ago, a person came from Tang Shan (China) lived in this town. He taught people to sing Beiguan opera, worshipping the Lord of Western Qin. One day, this person from Tang Shan disappeared suddenly. People built a hut with bamboo to worship the deity there. After a series of refurbishments, in 1989, the temple was rebuilt into the current conditions we see nowadays.
