Jiyangtang is a giant temple and its layout has conserved the geographical features of profound meaning for the local humanity and history, representing an icon of the era. The architecture itself blends Japanese colonization period style and Han style and is a typical Zhangzhou Pinghe Hakka house. Zhengshen 2jin as well as the guarding dragon at the side is large in size that features the original Hakka style. The shrine in the main hall is Japanese origin, which has its artistic and historical meaning. At the back of zhengshen conserves an old well that shows the cultural backdrop of the development of Changhua plain in the old days.
