This trail was originally a footpath of Liuzaikeng (Ershui Township, Changhua County) or Daliukeng (Minjian County), leading all the way up to the top of the hill. This one-hundred-year-old trail is famous for its "28 turns". Therefore, local residents called it the "28-Twist Road". It is a rather challenging trail, since it winds uphill through 28 turns to go from Songbokeng to Ershui and part of the trail is quite steep. It is considered a challenger-class trail, so the general trail walkers do not usually pick this route.
