Located in Yaolin Street, Lukang, the street house “Lukang Yihe Shop” has a standard shop layout that features narrow width and uncommon length in Qing dynasty. In the middle, there are wells that draw light. Although having been renovated several times, it has been well preserved by the owner and still keeps its layout and features. Most exceptional of all, “Lukang Yihe Shop “still keeps the layout of the 1st jin until the last jin. Outside the rear door is the unloading port of the old days, which reminds us the busy trading activities in the old Lukang.
