The original Xihu Village Military field was a 2-floor building constructed with bricks and reinforced concrete. Its roof is sipo ding on which there is concrete roofing. The vertical roof of the military field is a mountain-shape daughter wall under which there are 3 arch-shaped mud-sculptured decorations with windows on the sides. There is a door in the middle that leads to the balcony. The exterior of Xihu Village Military Field features a geometrical pattern that is artistic in architectural style. On the right of the village field are stairs leading to the 2nd floor where ceremonies were held in early days and is the office of Xihu Li at present.
