To promote sports for all people and market the ecological beauty of Route 139 in Changhua City, sponsored by Changhua City Office, and co-sponsored by Changhua County Running and Sports Leisure Association, “2017 Changhua Route 139 Marathon” was held in the morning on the 17th at Changhua County Stadium. Mayor Wei Mingku of Changhua County was invited to attend the meet, and fire the pistol with Chiu Chienfu, the Mayor of Changhua City and others to announce the commencement of the marathon. In this event, it attracted about 2000 runners. Mayor Lin wished the athletes to absorb the rich phytoncide along Route 139 of Changhua early in the morning, and enjoy the wonderful experience the wonderful sunshine sieved through the tree leaves during the run.
　　Mayor Lin expressed that the route of “Changhua Route 139 Marathon” was the ridgeline of the holy mountain of Changhua, Baguashan. Runners could not only experience the natural landscape of Baqua Sha but also enjoy the sceneries scattered on Changhua Plain in the west and the gorgeous view of Nantou in the east.
