旅宿介紹
In 2018, at the rear of Lukang Mazu Temple, this new landmark is a fusion of creative cultures and hotel, was established in a quiet alley not far away from lively streets. Its appearance is simple and neat, with the feel of the integration of the old and new, adding new style for the charming old town – Lukang. As it is located in the alley behind the Mazu Temple, people named it “Gong” (a Daoist temple). As its owner is a woman, people added another word “Hou” (queen, implying goddess). Combining the two characters together, it is named as “GH HOUSE”.
The owner of the GH HOUSE had worked in paper design for many years. She injected that design experience and professional know-how over the past years into GH HOUSE, adding new features to Lukang. With her affection to the Lukang (deer port), she uses “deer” as the theme in her guest house. In addition, “deer” (pronounced) as “lu” also means good fortune, which is also implied in the name of this guest house.
