 The mansion of Jin Shi
Din Aged Mansion is the Jin Shi mansion of Din family, also the only one Ji n Shi mansion left in Lugang, which is already more than hundred years old.
Ding Family Abode
’s story
Ding Family Abode was bought in around 1890s after the Jin Shi Nian-Chang Din was dead. The whole Din family was immigrated to Fukien in the year Taiwan ceded to Japan in Guanshis. In 1896s Bau-Hua Din came back to Lugong, he built the “old Shai Uan” in the original site and the family of Shai-Uan Din also came back to Lugang one by one. In 1902s the last one coming back of his family, Shu-Chun Chai set up the family business known as “New Shai Uan”.

The practical operating of Shai-Uan Din is the main reason that Ding family can develop continuously. And the building materials such as granite boards, spruce wood and tiler shipped from the main land of china are already becoming the important characters of current arrangement.
