The establisher of U Chan Jai, Jin Hwan, immigrating from Chan chou to Lugang in the Chin Dynasty invited the delicate-skilled pastry master worker from Chan chou to make different delicious pastry for presenting specific and graceful relics. Because of its delicate taste, it is fully granted.
Located in the Lugang Min Zu Road, the U Chan Jai is the hundred-year-old old shop. The now existing major shop was established in 1930 and its appearance is the adornment known as Shi Shi Zi, which enriches both the modern and ancient styles. It is the Japanese-occupied typical shop on the Lugang Min Zu Road and it’s also the important memory of traveling to Lugang for civilians. Beside observing the buildings, the visitors also can but the goods of U Chan Jai such as pastry and butter.
