 Chang-Hwa Shen-Kong County has a flat, large beach which enclosed plenty of sea animals such as crabs、shells. Cars can be easily driven smoothly if follow the road which local fishers drive. It's best for family activity because you can watch the crabs, dig shells, playing with water and so on.
Sheng Kong "Sea food" village has an old name called "seafood", originated from it's famous 蚵. Drive along west side, cross under high way bridge, you will find wide beach, where is also the place you will see most sea animals. When tides gone, fishers will start working and it's an very interesting scene to see.
There are full of all kinds of vehicles driving down near 1 km of beach road, also included old fishers take old fashioned cow car because they can't drive at all. The transportation is fast and convenient here and takes Taiwan 17 line exit in the village, it only takes 3-5 minutes to the beach.
You can enjoy watching the sea animals as well as playing with water. Remember to notice the change of the tides for your won safety. When tides up, it's pretty good to enjoy the wind and scenery along the coast, too.
